Voļģu Boulder

* Voļģu Boulder is a big pyramid-shaped boulder measuring 4 m in height from the ravine, and 12 m in girth. This boulder was also a secular place for the ancient Latvians, and comes with its own legend.

How to reach: Voļģu Boulder can be found on the road Cesvaine–Kārzdaba 4.5 km from Cesvaine. Look for a tourist sign on the road and then take a walk (600 m) along a trail, which can be muddy when wet so be careful, and continue along a foot-bridge to the boulder.
